Tech Support Specialist - Global MNC - ($3800 -$4400), 1st Leader in their field - (Location Central) (Singapore)
Responsibilities:
Preferred Skills: Windows (all versions), TCP/IP and common network protocols, Active Directory, Exchange Server (5.5, 2000, 2003), SQL Server, IIS, MS Office, Visio and Project, Veritas Backup Exec, Secure Remote VPN client, Symantec Antivirus Management, Citrix, Blackberry or Palm support. Technical Writing and great communications skills.
Duties 1. Assist customers with installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktop systems, and peripherals, good phone support communications skills. 2. Maintain Technology assets and asset database 3. Present on computing environment and desktop productivity tools to new users. 4. Plan, test, document and deploy corporate user systems, applications, and procedures. 5. Access other corporate resources, by understanding and following established procedures when problem escalation is necessary. 6. Documents and records all call activity using established methods and tools. 7. Maintains adequate technical product knowledge by attending formal product training, and self-study professional development activities. 8. Travel may be required to region in Asia Pacific or even US. 9. Participate in weekly 24x7 support rotation(Not shift work - dial-in server phone support if necessary because of time difference of global operations) 10. Maintain Disaster Recovery documentation and participate in scheduled recovery exercises. 11. Create and maintain technical user documentation.

Educational Background: Associates degree in computers technology preferred but not required
Prior Job Experience: 2 years of technical support experience preferred
