The National Heritage Board preserves, presents and promotes the cultural heritage of Singapore. Manager (Development)
Asian Civilisations Museum

(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

  • Activities will include year-round fund-raising efforts for ACM's exhibitions and public programmes
  • As and when they arise, assisting fund-raising for capital (building) and special projects
  • Assisting in fund-raising dinners and events
  • Writing and designing excellent fund-raising collaterals – eg appeal letters to potential partners and donors and museum info packs
  • Co-ordinating and managing Museum activities related to sponsorship
  • Helping to grow a strong network of key partners/sponsors for the Museum
  • Donor management

Requirements:

  • Good University degree
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in development, culture or professional sectors preferred.
  • Excellent English written and oral communication and presentation skills, IT literate
  • Well-spoken and presentable, able to meet donors and sponsors independently
  • Be a hands-on person and be willing to oversee fund-raising events at all levels
  • Have an interest in the arts and culture industry
  • Able to handle several projects simultaneously
  • An understanding of the rules and regulations governing fund-raising for charities and non-profit organisations would be an asset.
