IT Services Support Engineer
(Singapore)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support to users on IT-related problems. (E.g., Email & Virus Issues, PCs, Printers, Network Connectivity issue.
  • Provide network configuration and trouble shooting in LAN environment
  • Configure windows server 2003 and SQL server
  • Install and configure figure firewall
  • Provide remote access configuration
  • Provide Clustering configuration for servers
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network /pc problem
  • Respond to incidents assigned – troubleshoot, rectify or bypass problems within committed service levels
  • Maintain documentation - ensure proper update of documentation in relation to changes in environment
  • Take ownership of, manage and coordinate all activities/tasks on hardware/ network related issues

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma in Networking, Info Communications or IT
  • Intermediate networking knowledge, minimum 2 years operational and hands-on experience in supporting and troubleshooting PCs, TCP/IP LAN-s with switches, routers, wireless access points
  • Experience in configuration server using windows server OS and SQL database
  • Customer focused with ability to meet new challenges and learn new skills, on the job
  • Handling telephone calls and e-mails from customers (IT-related enquiries and trouble-reporting)
  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to customer service
  • Need to travel around within Singapore
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, verbal and written communication skills
  • Singaporean or PR Only
