HSE Specialist
You will develop, improve, conduct and document site HS&E programs, training, audits, observations, risk assessments, incident investigations and case management. You will also provide strategic direction to site leadership on HS&E issues and opportunities; validate implementation and ensure integrity of site HSEMS. Other duties include develop or revise local HS&E policies and procedure; identify corrective actions for incidents, audits, trends and other findings based on research and best demonstrated practices; ensure local legal, business and client requirements are met and also act as a Secretary to the Safety Committee.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety/Health, Engineering or Technology.
• Minimum 3 years Hands-on experience in development and/or continuous improvement of HSE facilitation or coordination in a manufacturing environment
• Preferably demonstrated experience in cross functional team creation and/or development and Behavioral Based Safety application.
• Certified Registered Safety Officer with MOM
• Mature and assertive to drive initiatives & projects successfully
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
