The Audio Amplifier group of the Business Line Personal Entertainment Solutions focuses on development and production of Audio Power Amplifiers applicated in flat TV, Home-Theatre, mini-micro and mobile applications. To develop tomorrow's products for our customers of today (Panasonic, Apple, Philips CE) we are involved in a continuous quest for more output power, better robustness, increased functionality and higher efficiency. Current portfolio in SOI analog design is moving towards digital-in class-D amplifiers, facilitated by digital functionalities in standard CMOS processes complementing the analog designs implemented in SOI.

Digital Design Engineer (Job ID. 2504)

Responsibilities:

As a Digital Designer in Nijmegen, you will be a member of a multidisciplinary team developing new digital-in audio amplifier products for personal entertainment. Your contribution will be a/o in the design and verification of digital modules for mixed signal audio IC's. You will be involved in specification, design and simulation, synthesis, verification, documentation, DfT implementation and evaluation. All these activities take place on block level as well as top-level design. The balance in mixed signal will be towards digital for this position but a proven affinity with analog design is a must.

Requirements:

  • Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • Basic knowledge on signal processing
  • Proven experience in digital IC implementation at block- & top level
  • Ability to give direction in digital design within an analog group
  • Enthusiastic team player showing initiatives, pro-active attitude
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • English language skills essential
