(Singapore) Responsibilities:
- Performs product/solution demonstrations to support 3D scanning solutions VAR sign up and VAR sales processes.
- Extensive travel in Asia, especially India, in order to provide application support and training to VARs/OEMs.
- Documents system integration procedures and product application notes to distribute to VARs and OEMs.
- Receives, diagnoses, and supports field troubleshooting by the OEMs and VARs in field.
- Gains confidence and working relationship with OEMs and VARs.
- Develops tools to support marketing and sales activities to support VARs and OEMs.
- Evaluates various scanning applications for feasibility and applicability of Perceptron solutions
- Performs system integration to check the system quality before product release and shipment.
- Work as part of the sales team to contribute ideas for new sales opportunities, processes and systems.
- Provide feedback to R&D for product improvement.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work related experience in the field of 3D scanning, metrology or automotive industries.
- Knowledge and experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, UG, Pro/E, Delcam, etc.
- 3D scanning/metrology related experience preferred.
- Experience giving technical and problem solution orientated presentations to potential customers.
- Willingness and capability to travel overseas frequently, especially India, in support of business development.
- Proficiency in English to conduct business conversations.
- Willingness to relocate to India for a long-term assignment, but not required
- Fluent in Hindi language preferred but not required.
