high calibre candidates for the following position.

Responsibilities:

Ideally proficient in all aspects of IT knowledge

TRAINING

• able to provide tuition and training direction for new cad staff .
  
• To provide technical support and training for existing CAD users to maintain an effective and efficient use of software and procedures, communicating directly with software developers as necessary.

• To assist in the production of documentation for general CAD procedures and drawing standards.
  
• To liaise with project teams to produce CAD strategy documentation for individual projects appropriate to their size and nature.
  
• To periodically liaise with Associates, Project Leaders and CAD users to discuss CAD use and drawing practice in order to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency in the delivery of information.

• To maintain a current understanding of collaborating parties’ CAD products and related software in order to ensure compatibility when exchanging electronic data.
  
• To co-ordinate CAD strategy documentation with external parties in order to maintain consistency in exchange of drawings and related documentation.
  
• To provide support, training and administration as required for the upload and exchange of data via project extranet sites.

• To assist the IT team in the maintenance of hardware and software in the Singapore office, including PCs, networking, backups, CAD & other software and plotting facilities.

• To assist in the development and maintenance of CAD libraries and project templates.
  
• To assist in the development of other 3rd-party and in-house software and provide training and support for its users.
  
• To research and explore other CAD products and related software in the marketplace to keep Aedas informed of the current state of the industry
  
• To report monthly to the management, detailing issues of CAD software use, user queries, change requests and other procedural or software requirements.

Requirements:

You should have a sound knowledge of at least one CAD mainstream product, its development and its implementation in a working environment; proven work experience required.

Knowledge of the following cad packages:

• AutoCAD 2008 essential
  
  
• AutoCAD ADT, desirable
  
  
• Microstation 8.5 or XM, Bentley architectural, highly desirable
  
  
• Revit desirable
  
  
• Navis Works
  
  
• Sketchup
