Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager
(Singapore - Thomson Road)

Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the Product Business Unit (PBU) Accessories team, which develops and supplies accessories that help consumers expand, enjoy and enhance their means to communicate. The Project Office in Singapore is responsible for planning and running concept, technology studies and projects to support product roadmap according to the applicable process from concept, pre-study, feasibility study, project execution, product design, test and verification, to launch in market on time and until product End-of-life.
  • Form, plan, budget and run accessories projects from Singapore
  • To meet the RTL date, cost and quality of the product in order to achieve the overall PBU accessories’ business plan and product road map
  • Maintain the product throughout the product lifecycle
  • Optimize processes and usage of common tools, in order to secure continues improvements
  • Participates actively in Pre-Project Roadmap discussions

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical) with at least 8 years’ experience from qualified project development work preferably within the telecommunication / electronic consumer industries
  • Knowledge in Project Management is highly valued
  • Creative, analytical and with good written and oral communication skills
  • Be self-motivated and with good leadership and problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge on managing skills and adaptable to an organization in constant change are valuable
