InSiPhil is an international group with companies in Singapore, Malaysia and the USA. The corporate head office in Singapore includes the company's product development, sales, and marketing departments.

Manufacturing is done entirely at our own site in Senai, Johor Malaysia and we operate a North America's Sales & Service Support Center in Sunnyvale, California, USA.

Through a wide network of companies and distributors, our newly acquired Telesensory products are available in 50 countries worldwide. In the United States, products are sold by more than 100 distributors, dealers, and resellers who provide personalized customer support throughout the country.

As part of our business expansion plan, we seek a dynamic, resourceful and qualified individual to fill up the following position:

Responsibilities:

• Supplier Base Management
• Price break analysis
• New part price negotiation
• Tooling cost negotiation
• New parts approval follow up
• Terms & Condition negotiation( SMI and Payment Term )
• Develop sourcing strategy for responsible purchases, work closely with global commodity team to implement supplier initiatives.
• Responsible for identification, evaluation and management of suppliers within the region
• Contribute to margin improvement through quarterly material cost down and supply chain improvement
• Support bid process by generating competitive pricing from capable suppliers on time
• Work closely with R&D team to establish and ensure new product introductions are timely, and that commodity roadmaps meet regional needs
• Provide expert industry analysis and forward pricing guidance to worldwide regional marketing teams to guide product configuration choices and roadmap direction.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering
• At least 8 year(s) of working experience 3 year(s) in a managerial capacity in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants should be Singaporean citizens .
• Preferably senior managers specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material Management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of plastics molding and metal parts is an advantage.
